How any times have we seen some author start with where they were born? Who cares? Well… unless it’s really cool. “I was born in a fortune cookie factory” would be pretty interesting, I suppose. This could be a witty anecdote, a thought-provoking question, or a bold statement that reflects your writing style and personality. The goal is to pique readers’ curiosity and entice them to learn more about you.
