2.6.6

Several enhancements and fixes for screen-readers.

We want everyone to be able to use Word Weaver Pro effectively!

2.6.5

Some minor bug fixes in Word exports. One particular bug was quite troublesome, and has been thoroughly vanquished.

2.6.5

Refined the Scene separator indicator. Much nicer and makes more sense where it is placed.

Chapter display with new separators Project display with new separators
2.6.4

Fixed mood board display for Locations.

Improved files icon display, including icon for audio recordings.

Indicator for Scene separator improvements.

Added CAPTCHA (Altcha) to contact and message forms for people not logged in to cut down on spam. Altcha is an Open Source privacy-first alternative to Google’s reCAPTCHA. No information is sent anywhere during the verification process.

2.6.3

Heavy optimization for mobile. Word Weaver Pro performs really well on a good 3G connection on a very small screen.

You can use Word Weaver Pro on a very slow internet connection! Not recommended.

Added “Message us” option. A small icon on the left bring up a dialog where you can send us a quick message without leaving the page you are on.

2.6.2

Improved the legibility of the activity chart (available on the My account page).

Did some improvements on the tutorials, including updating screenshots with the new site colors. Still some more screenshots to go on a few more pages.

2.6.1

New color scheme! The previous scheme was way too much contrasty and could strain the eyes. This one is still very readable, but far less harsh.

Also made the sidebars (on desktop) more usable as stacked on mobile.

We are very excited by the new look. Hope you like it too!

Top navigation and toolbar are fixed. They will not scroll out of sight, so now you can always get to them at any time. Much nicer!

Sidebar listings of Characters and Locations display the author notes for each item, and the first 300 characters of the description text if no author notes exist. This was previous functionality, but a recent “bug fix” broke it.

Tweaked the pager in reader view. It was not vertically centered and was overlapping outside the top navigation bar on mobile. That was making me agitated every time I saw it. Now… perfection.

2.5.13

Today we have enhancements to all items, item grid, files, and search pages. They are all more responsive with a simplified filtering interface and reduced paging.

Several security fixes.

2.5.12

For authors with a larger audience (a good thing!), your account page shows a paged display of the last 25 mailing list signups.

You can also download a CSV file of your entire list to upload into whatever email list system you use.

You will still get immediate emails for any submission on your contact form.
